This is one special young horse with an unlimited amount of potential in multiple disciplines. Basil has been well started under saddle and gets stronger and more confident every week. She has a super hind leg that will never be "out behind" or "not active enough", great reach in her shoulder and a very natural uphill balance.  In her two outings at schooling shows she has scored an “8” on her gaits!

Sire Eclipsed by Color (Color Guard) is a stunning 12 year old Warmblood stallion approved for the following registries; American Hanoverian Society, CSHA, CWB, GOV, RPSI, and sBs.

He was the overall Reserve Champion at his 2010 70 Day Stallion Test at Silver Creek Farm in Oklahoma, winning the jumping portion of the test. His test riders scored him with a 9.75 in his jumping. At the end of the testing he received scores of; Dressage 105.09, Jumping 127.00 (earning him the title of Jumping Champion), and an Overall Score of 118.65 resulting in the award of Reserve Champion. His sire, Escudo I was the 2009 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. He was also the winner of his stallion performance test in 1994 achieving a convincing score of 144.90 points in the jumping category. He is a son of the Celle State stallion Espri, who is known worldwide for producing outstanding quality offspring.
